Caring for Katie's Modern Rugs does not involve a lot of work. Besides treating your beautiful new modern rugs with consideration (no muddy boots), vacuum regularly (we recommend superior Miele vacuums). If you spill, dilute with water or seltzer, then soak up immediately with paper towels. If necessary, spot clean with a mild cleanser, such as Woolite.

Rug pads are recommended to minimize furniture marks and to reduce wear. Important: cut rather than pull any loose threads.

When new, handtufted rugs will shed lint. Don't worry; just vacuum them regularly. The rugs will last years and look great.
